Tuition and Refund Policy

Bow Valley College's tuition is program based, meaning that not all programs cost the same amount. There are also additional mandatory fees. You can find out more about our tuition and fees here: Tuition and Fees page. Please be aware that tuition and fees are subject to change.

Refund Information

Students applying for a program at Bow Valley College are encouraged to read the International Student Tuition and Fee Refund Information. Any requests for a refund will be handled in accordance with this information.

Please note that payments made by cash, cheque, debit, or money order are refunded via cheque. Payments made by Visa or MasterCard are refunded back to the credit card originally used for payment.


Program/Course Cancellation

Bow Valley College reserves the right to cancel programs or courses due to insufficient enrolment or other unexpected circumstances. Please note that course tuition, content, textbook/supplies, and dates are subject to change.

Non-Refundable Confirmation Fee

The non-refundable and non-transferable confirmation fee for all full-time Certificate and Diploma programs as well as English Language Learning for International Students is $1500 CAD. This fee is deducted from the total tuition refund.

International students requesting refunds must refer requests to the International Education Department. As a government approved Designated Learning Institute, Bow Valley College will be required to report on the compliance of study permit holders enrolled at Bow Valley College, that they are actively pursuing studies.  It is important that any study permit holders who withdraw from Bow Valley College continue to actively pursue studies to remain in Canada under their study permit.
