We also host workshops and seminars to help international students wishing to pursue post-secondary education in Canada, obtain a post-secondary student-related work permit, and address other learning related issues.

Campus Health - Student's health and wellbeing is very important to Bow Valley College, so it makes sense that we offer health services to all registered students.  Located in West Campus is Imagine Health - where a variety of doctors are available for you.

Counselling Services - Counselling is a one-on-one confidential service available to assist learners with many issues that they may face while studying at Bow Valley College. All our counsellors have undertaken special training to address the needs of learners which can include learning, psychological, social and emotional needs. Counsellors can also assist learners with personal difficulties, mental health issues, suicide intervention, grieving, stress and time management, study skills, financial planning, and education/career planning. You can find counselling services in Learner Success Services, South Campus.

The cafeteria also offers ample seating and mircowave facilities. If you're looking for just a quick snack or drink try Starbuck's On The Go located in North Campus.

Campus Security - Campus security staff are responsible for the college's number one priority: the safety of all students and staff. Located on the main floor of North Campus they oversee any security issues or concerns on campus. If you are staying late at the college consider using the safe walk program whereby a security officer will accompany you to nearby parking or c-train station.

Bookstore - The bookstore has a misleading name as they sell way more than just textbooks! Aside from new and gently used textbooks you can also purchase BVC merchandise, gifts and clothing, over-the-counter medicine, college supplies and snacks.

Library and Learning Commons - Open to all BVC students the library and learning commons offers a wide range of services including books and dvds available for loan, conversation, reading and writing clubs, computer use and print facilities. Blackboard and mybvc assistance is also available.
