Bow Valley College is an innovative, world-class college with more than 600 faculty and staff who speak more than 50 languages. Governed by a Board of Governors, the College operates under the province of Alberta’s Post-Secondary Learning Act.
Since our launch in 1965, our small classes, high-quality instruction, applied learning, focused work experience, and extensive support services have prepared more than 250,000 people for work or further study.

Since the beginning our English Language Learning programs have prepared students to meet and exceed their English proficiency goals, whether for work, academic, or social purposes.
Our career programs prepare students for work or further study. Bow Valley College closely follows both national and international trends in business, health care, and human services and creates certificate and diploma programs that are relevant and useful all over the world. These programs offer practicum work terms as well providing graduates with the competitive skill sets required to be successful in today's workplace. Some of our programs are recognized by both universities and professional designations offering an excellent platform for year 3 of a university degree.
Our focus also includes providing international experiences for Canadian students through a growing selection of practicums, courses and other international opportunities.

Through contract training and development projects, Bow Valley College extends it's expertise in literacy and essential skills, competency based education, and teaching excellence to communities around the world.
